All Saints College Trivandrum - LOUD on Campus Began
All Saints College, Trivandrum | 🗓 October 2025 | 100+ Students | 20+ Ambassadors
Every movement has a starting point. For LOUD on Campus, it was All Saints College, Thiruvananthapuram, in October 2025. This was the first time LOUD walked into a college with nothing but a box of organic pads and a conversation we refused to keep quiet.
More than 100 students attended the session. We talked about what's actually inside a conventional sanitary pad — the bleach, the plastic, the synthetic fragrances pressed against skin for 7 days every month. We discussed where those pads go after: 12 billion plastic pads are sent to India's landfills every year, each taking up to 800 years to decompose. For most students in the room, this was the first time they'd heard any of this.
20+ students didn't just listen. They decided to become the voice in their own circles. That's not a response — that's a movement starting.
But the moment that defined this visit happened after the formal session. Over 20 students signed up to become LOUD campus ambassadors - not just to use the product, but to carry the conversation into their hostels, their departments, their WhatsApp groups, and their friend circles.
These were the first 20 people in Kerala to officially join what was about to become LOUD's campus network.
All Saints set the template for everything that followed: show up honestly, trust the students to lead, and believe that once someone hears the truth, they want others to hear it too.
Why This Visit Mattered
Period conversations on campus had never happened openly at All Saints before this session. Within one hour, students were asking questions no one had ever encouraged them to ask: What's in my pad? Where does it go? Why did no one tell me this? And: what can I do about it?
The 20+ ambassadors recruited that day went on to seed LOUD's campus presence in Trivandrum. They are the reason the city now has a growing, self-sustaining network of students who talk about periods without whispering.
